Along the way you will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon.From the first waterfall you will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. We have 5 rappels, 4 of which are along side or right in waterfalls, and one dry rock face.

Arenal Volcano Hike

The Arenal Volcano tour transports guests to the active northwest side of the volcano. The tour begins with a hike and depending upon which side of the volcano the lava is flowing, we go either to the trail "Los Tucanes" at the National Park or Mirador El Silencio..It is possible
to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife, magnificent lava rock formations and the Arenal Lake just in time for sunset!
During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park.

This has a good combination of horseback riding, primary and secondary forest, cattle farm, and beautiful scenery. During the trip you pass by one of the more interesting places around the volcano. Also you can appreciate many species of birds, a great variety of butterflies, wild animals, and a great diversity of lush plants of the tropical rainforest.

Starting every day from La Fortuna and all hotels near Arenal Volcano our One-Day Bike Tours focus in the area around Arenal Volcano National Park and Arenal Lake. Since bikes are not allowed inside the National Park, we use different roads just outside of it. The closest you can get to Arenal Volcano on a bicycle is on our “El Castillo" or "Mountain Bike at Lake Arenal" tours.
