MAPACHE RENT A CAR

Mapache is an environmentally conscious company with a fleet of over 400 clean burning vehicles (C-Neutral Certification). Above and beyond the actions of the atypical car rental agency, Mapache also uses a portion of its earnings to help fund the replenishing of one of Costa Rica's most treasured resources, the forest.

It is possible to have semiprivate transportation (shared bus & van fleets) to travel from any location of the country to another. The cost per person will depend on the distance and location where you plan to go, normally ranging from $35 to $39 per person each way.

While on our excursions you will be accomodated in one of our luxurious buses, our roomy and cozy Hiace Van, or one of our efficient micro buses. This will depend on the tour and size of the group.

If you are traveling with a large group to Costa Rica there is no better means of getting around the country than in a privately chartered bus or van.

There is no minimum or maximum of people required and you will enjoy the benefits of a bilingual driver/ guide in the comfort of a fully equipped van or bus. Prices vary depending on destination and size of group.
